Reports provide additional information about an end user beyond what they submit directly in an inquiry. Inquiries collect information directly from an individual, while reports pull information from authoritative and non-authoritative data sources such as databases, public records, watchlists, media mentions, and behavioral signals.

Persona supports many report types, including:

  • Address Lookup
  • Adverse Media
  • Business Adverse Media
  • Business Watchlist
  • Crypto Address Watchlist
  • Email Risk
  • Phone Risk
  • Politically Exposed Person
  • Watchlist

Organizations who use reports often need additional information about an end user before completing their identity verification process. Common use cases include KYC/AML compliance and fraud prevention.

Report templates

Many types of reports come with configurable settings. A report template is a saved configuration for how you want to run a report. Creating a report template lets you more easily run a report multiple times.

The reports templates page in the dashboard lists all the templates your organization has created. If you are missing a template type you need, please contact contact us for assistance.

Continuous reports

Reports can be configured to run in regular intervals against an account. For example, you can run a Watchlist Report against your accounts each month or once a year. This can help you detect if an account that was previously not on a watchlist was later added to a watchlist.
